I barely had received the item, not even enough time to really try it out, and this company was already pestering me for reviews. So, here's my rushed review. First of all the stuff is way overpriced for the size jars that you get. I hate how companies will exploit new health needs/products to maximize profit to a ridiculous extent. For the size of these jars, they should be maybe $3 a piece at most. As for taste, I still don't know yet. It seems like it takes a lot more of this product to get a salt flavor. In all honesty this stuff is so ridiculously expensive, I'm quite the Grinch when I'm sprinkling it out onto whatever I'm eating. But apparently I have to use 25% of an overpriced jar to get the salt flavor that you might get from a couple of shakes of traditional salt. Personally, I would not recommend this product nor will be buying it again unless they dramatically drop the price and stop trying to rip people off. I hate companies that exploit people's health needs for their own excessive profit. If your costs are legitimate, then publicly post which your cost is versus your profit margin because I have a hard time seeing this little jar costing you guys even five bucks to be selling it for 10.
Because of my heart issues I am restricted to no more than 2,000mg of salt per day so that I don't retain fluid. I tried eating without going over my salt limit and eating became almost a chore. After I tried MySaltSubstitute I began to enjoy my food more. It's not exactly the same as regular salt, but it's close enough. I don't plan to be without it. I will take it with me wherever I go.
My doctor just put me on blood pressure meds and said absolutely no salt. I ordered the mysalt set and it saved the day. My wife enjoys it also. I will be buying mysalt again and I highly recommend it.
I have Diabetes as well as Meniere's disease. It necessitates strict control of sodium and sugars in my diet. These spices from mysalt are a godsend. I was used to not having any salt on my food and yes, even though I used other spices was still kind of bland. Even my wife, who is not on a low sodium diet loves the taste that they add to our food like hamburgers. I highly recommend the salt if you're trying to control sodium in your diet.
My husband has congestive heart failure, coronary artery decrease plus COPD. This product satisfied his salt craving and his potassium is low, which is really why I tried it. Didn't know spices have salt in them. Ty
